When you are encountered with a scammer and you don't have enough info, how will you best go about dealing with this?
When I encounter a scammer and do not have enough info I will go about this by observing their behavior, asking other traders who have chatted or made deals with this scammer, try to look for their trust on backpack and steamrep to see of any fraudulent activity that may be taking place. I won't confront the scammer directly until I have gathered sufficient evidence and I am given the go ahead by the owner of TGP (T-Virus). I have successfully reported sharking or suspicious activity in the past and plan to continue doing so for the safety and friendly environment of this community.
What do you think Admins/Mods can improve on in the group/servers?
Admin/Mods can improve on their activity within the servers and their willingness to take immediate action or start their plan of action based on the circumstances. Admins/Mods should be more aware of their community and the people that regularly visit these servers. Mic-spammers and talking over advertisements should be immediately dealt with if there is sufficient proof that these individuals are guilty of said acts.
What will you do to maintain and grow the group/servers?
I am an active community member in the trading server TGP and will do my best to punish or note any suspicious activity of individuals, I will use my position for the betterment of the server and I plan on making TGP a safer environment for new traders! I have also been told my auctioneering skills are on point so I will participate in that when I can but will likely have someone take over at times due to my time zone.
What will you bring to benefit our group/servers?
I want to have a safe and friendly environment for new traders where they feel welcome by the server and don't feel at risk of being sharked or mislead by traders with much more experience, I also want to punish wrong-doers accordingly, host auctions, enforce rules, give warnings, and overall just see this community thrive and grow like everyone wants it to.
Will you be able to coordinate with TVirus and other admins to hold events on the server?
I'll do it when I'm available, I really enjoy this server but, like anybody else life gets busy so I will do this to the best of my ability with potential supervision from experienced admins or T-Virus himself.
What time are you usually on?
Pretty much everyday from around noon EST (12-3 pm) or late evening or early night EST (7-11 pm), I might have breaks for my mental health but I am usually very active compared to most traders I see.
Give us a little information about yourself (Minimal, Don't dox yourself)
I started TF2 when I was around 8-9 years old and have watched this game grow as time went on, I started from a crumby laptop on trade minecraft servers, deathrun, and jailbreak to a fully functional PC on trade servers (mostly TGP). I am pretty familiar with most people in this community and a lot of people know me as well. I get along with just about anybody and I don't get too out of hand with my personality. I'm a security officer, go to the gym, play guitar, cook alot, exercise and stay fit, Christian, play video games, and overall just enjoy life. I love TF2 and what it brings to my life and I genuinely want to see this server get to over 60 max players lol.
Any current admins are you familiar with?
T-Virus, Festive Morgan, Epsilon, Rudi, Taco Tamer, Zero PC, and any others that aren't on the top of my head. I know just about everybody.
T-Virus told me to apply after auctions yesterday because he was impressed with my performance and I do think I've been on this server way to long to not at least try for admin.
